At some time or another, all of us have been in conflict with someone that we love or that is significant in our lives. Perhaps it was a parent, a child, a partner, a friend, a colleague…whoever it was, something happened, something got in the way of the relationship.
In Social Oriented Focusing ׂׂ(SOFׁ) there is an understanding that the relationship is more important than the conflict, and from this perspective, we can use SOF tools to stop our automatic patterns of reacting and actually manage the conflict.
In this way rather than compromising ourselves in the name of peace, we deepen and widen our sense of authenticity and truth, and through the felt sense we meet on common unifying ground where we are able to hold all differences in connectedness. This

Have you developed a project with TAE? Has that been a while ago as well? How has what emerged in your TAE process affected your daily life? Where do you stand with it now? Is your concept still coherent? Would you like to pick up the thread again?
Imagine being really present in the here-and-now…enjoying interpersonal moments with the freedom to be yourself, to feel good – to experience surprise and delight instead of repetitive, stressful patterns of interaction.
SOF teaches us to untie the KNOTS and NOTS that interfere with relating to others, enabling us to overcome blocks, fears, and automatic behaviors. In this workshop, we shall take a journey where we will explore how meeting our self and the other in an SOF way through the elements of Earth, Water, Fire & Air influences, transforms, nourishes, and creates a new living field of connectedness and possibilities in us and between us.
The workshop will include presentations, guided experiential and breakout room exercises, and time for sharing

Our attempt is to provide a wider view of psychotherapy and of how personal development might be supported, beyond schools and techniques. In this frame we would like to present Gene Gendlin's murky edge as a very basic reference point, which addresses a core principle in psychotherapyt. Gendlin’s stance shall be demonstrated with the following quotation:
" I want to start with the most important thing I have to say: The essence of working with another person is to be present as a living being. And that is lucky, because if we had to be smart, or good, or mature, or wise, then we would probably be in trouble. But, what matters is not that. What matters is to be a human being with another human being, to recognize the other person as another being in there. Even if it
A culture in which we listen to each other, to help more profound, more holistic insights emerge, is a culture with the potential for more creativity, compassion and wisdom. We warmly invite you to join us in a conversation about listening and felt sensing.

Thinking at the Edge (TAE) is a practice for bringing your felt ideas to life. It is a methodology for learning to think with the felt sense, so that thought is integrated with the whole of our experiencing. It is a powerful tool for moving from a vague sense of something we know to bringing those “somethings” to life. You can read more about TAE here.
The TAE-fest is intended as a light-hearted opportunity to explore TAE. Six teachers will offer you opportunities to touch into the power of TAE. If you are a beginner, it allows you to explore the potential of TAE. If you are already familiar with it, the TAE-fest can
A creative, visual way to parse the threads of our inner experience that get tangled in fraught relational situations. Based on the NVC practice of identifying our feelings and needs—we will tease out the finer threads that make up our own unique tapestries. Perceptions, fears, hopes, beliefs, values, and needs may be some threads to gently untangle. The intention of this practice is for us to feel held in the care of our own and others’ witnessing – and a way to clear space around the Heart for the flow of vulnerability, connection, and healing.
Available three consecutive Thursdays or Fridays depending on sign-ups

Experiencing and the Creation of Meaning (Gendlin, 1962/1997) is a seminal work from Gendlin's early years. It is the theoretical cornerstone for practices such as "Focusing" and "Thinking at the Edge".
This work explores in detail how words and felt sense support each other. The more you unpack the work, the more you will see what roles words and felt sense each play in "forming a felt sense," "getting a handle," and "resonating the handle."
This presentation will explain the functional relationships between words and the felt sense that is a core part of this work, while also explaining the terms "experiencing,

Do you dread speaking in public? Or maybe you enjoy it, but get very nervous?
Maybe you know you have as much to say as anyone else and a part of you really wants to give more talks.
But another part is terrified you’ll mess up, another is saying you’re no good, and yet another is annoyed that you feel like this. There are almost too many parts to keep track of, and each talk brings the same old smorgasbord of misery.
This course will help you develop a whole new way of approaching this issue of public speaking. You will be asked to deliver a short talk in front of the group in week 5, and given some skills training to help you do that. But skills training is a small component of this course.
Self-care isn't just about finding ways to unwind. It's about taking care of your well-being at every level – mind, body, emotions, spirit, and relationships.
Whether You’re:
Burned out, exhausted, or overwhelmed from juggling too much for too long. Tired and making it through the day, but hoping it could get better. Or engaged in good self-care and wanting to deepen your practice.
This course will help you create small, sustainable changes so you can live a more well-rested, self-loving life.
